Free will and data
Unpredictability is the manifestation of free will. Why don't we think that a ball rolling down a hill has free will; because we possibly can predict its movement. It changes its path only by external factors, but it is governed by laws, it has to move according to the laws. What about the atoms in the ball? Do they have free will; well it may not be possible to predict each atom with high precision but we can predict the collective fairly accurately. Possibility of knowing the laws give us possibility of predictive power, which we call the absence of free will. Well, the collection of data about us, our behaviours, our reactions to external factors can give a system predictive power over collective human populations. We loose our free will!
